His conviction in this film is outstanding. As Tori said, "It makes me feel patriotic." Me too. I'm not all that knowledgeable about politics and I don't support a lot of what our government does, but I am proud of people who are like this in real life.
While watching this movie, I kept thinking about Grandpa and my uncles who fought in wars. It's crazy what they have dealt with, especially afterwards. Fear is a monster, I would go as far as to say it's worse than war. It fucks up a lot more innocent lives and causes more war.
I've spent a lot of time today doing anything other than my homework. I watched a good deal of trailers for movies that are coming out this year. I have a long list already. I want to see so many.
4 more days. 5 1/2 until I go home!

Such a good speech! This is the only part of the movie I've seen since I caught this on when my roommates are watching it. I need to watch the whole thing at some point. Haha

Really? That's funny cuz yesterday a live version of a Jason Mraz song came on my Pandora yesterday and I was like, "Jason Mraz.. reminds me of Britta. Man, I miss Britta". Guess I miss Josh too ;p haha, but yeah, I'm heading down there on June 15th to run the Art Tank table for the Bobcat Marketplace.
