I'm feeling pretty good about everything.
I did a lot today, even if I didn't work on my paper (which is what I was supposed to be doing) until now. I did things that I've been putting off for whatever reason. I even started to clean the cab office. Perhaps this is the world's way of telling me to chill out or maybe it's the calm before the storm. Either way, I'm going to try to get my work done. It's nothing I can't handle, besides citations perhaps. I really don't understand them still... After Friday, I only have to worry about making final touches to my paper, finishing my journals, and my French presentation. As far as I know today anyway. I'm excited for Earthfest on Saturday. I freaking love it. That and watching "A Single Man" are my two carrots for finishing this paper. I'm in it to win it. I have to keep this level of motivation. It's not the best motivation, but it's getting the job done thus far.
I can't decide if I should watch the documentary tomorrow or not. I probably will. I'm going to try and write my journals in the afternoon so I can not think about it as much. Oop, I'm writing my to do list in my blog again.
Okay next topic.
I think it's interesting how I'm reacting. I suppose this is how normal people should react. It's still going to pass through my mind but it's feels like a slight buzzing sound, you know?
This morning we had our 'Post-mortem" class for reacting to the past. Elissa gave people awards for certain things like most persuasive (Joe, duh!)or the most inventive (Curtis, no surprise) As she clicked through the slides, I started getting sort of panicky. If I didn't get some sort of award, I was going to be so disappointed in myself. I ended up getting three. Not all of them on my own (which is totally cool) but my whole body relaxed after I saw my name made out of a ton of pixels. I feel slightly ashamed for getting so worked up about it.
Today, I listened to a lot of music mainly from my sugarcult days. I gotta say, I still dig 'em.
my brain's falling out.
