Narcissism

Because I'm a Virgo, I'm really critical. It's a fact. Usually I'm self-critical. As my boss put it, I "expect a high level of quality" in everything I(and others) do. And I don't take compliments well-- but I do appreciate them (A LOT). I do tend to do the self-destructive thing and google my name, etc. I like reading the definitions of my name on urbandictionary (for the most part, the last one is gross).

"A name of Swedish origin, meaning "strong"
She is reliable and steady
Always looks for the best in people
She believes anything is possible
She can accept others disagreeing with her
Trys to always kind to others
Secure in knowing she is on the right path
Fear does not stand in her way

She also doesn't like when her name is referenced to Brit or Brittany, Britta is not short for anything, so don't ask if it is or change it."

"Strong, beautiful/striking, a leader, one worth knowing."

Thumbs Up!
I like watching Phoebe watch people outside our window. She really loves it when the window is open like tonight. That's right our window is open in January just weeks after it snowed. Oh Georgia, you silly thing you. Today has been great really. I haven't done nearly enough work but I spent a lot of time with Tori. We went to antique shops, Blackbird, and did some work. I think it's funny how we deal with our problems/stresses. In the same manner usually. Except, I am more prone to yelling/confrontation.
Speaking of which, these effing journals are turning into the bane of my existence. I can't seem to find the motivation to get them done. I only have 7 left. Only 7. That's one less than before right. Right.
I tend to ramble a lot and I prefer to write (at least initially) in a stream-of-conscious style. According to my 1940s class, this is called "autonomous" and it is a style of art making as well as writing. Their are variations of course and it's usually used as a warm up/ jumping off point. It's supposed to reveal what's actually on your mind without much conscious thought or effort. I dig that. That's sort of how I approach my artwork anyway. Just do. Try again with thought after. I think it's the purest way to express yourself. The funny thing is, it takes some practice.
I've been getting some great ideas lately. I just hope I have enough time and capacity to actually get it done, ya feel me?
